I have this set up for soaker hoses to run every 2 days. At some point it split and it leaked for 2 days completely soaked the ground so much it got into my basement. Don't buy!

Replaced one we have bought from Home Depot every year. Unfortunately those leaked and split. We took the opportunity to see how this would work. Great option. Very easy to unpack, and screw on, works wonderful. Hose on one end and dog luck on the other. Definitely recommend.

I hate the cheaper models with the short levers...these are easy to work even with old arthritic hands!Installs easily and does not drip

Easy to screw on with top that turns, so levers are always facing out. Easy to open & close levers for water control.

I don't have a lot of hand strength and these longer shut off handles make it easier for me to switch from one connected hose to another. My original metal "Y" had tiny shut off handles that were a struggle to use. After trying this for a month, I bought another one so all the spigots here are easy to use.

Screws in easily… but it’s the large valve levers that I’ll rave about. So much easier than the generally available splitters. A game changer.

I've ordered half a dozen or more of these from different sellers (price varies widely). They're way better than the old metal gold-color ones (supposedly brass but with more of a pot-metal consistency) with the short black plastic hard-to-turn levers. These levers are both sufficiently long and accessible to reach, and also turn very easily with little effort. Most don't leak, but I do have one that drips a little from the input area. There's also a 4-way splitter that looks similar, and I've purchased a couple of those, as well.I use a lot of hose splitters, and for a 2-way splitter, these are the ones I like the best so far.

This is a compact Y-type hose fitting designed to turn one spigot into two.I use it on our outdoor spigot to avoid having to change hoses. My only concern is the junction between the top fitting and the base -- it's often the weakest link in these sorts of fittings (and the reason I purchased this one as my old one was leaking at that point). Hopefully, this will last many years; I will update my review if there are any issues. Each tap has a shutoff with a ball-type value that completely shuts the water flow off -- not even a slow drip as is often the case with other fittings of this type. The body is made of plastic with metal threads at all three ends. The interior water chambers and valves appear to be made of metal as well. Two extra washers included to ensure that no water is wasted -- either at the main fitting or on your two hoses.Great value at about $7 at the time of the review. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this for others.

Pretty nice but not a lot of quality control. The threaded legs of the connector had brass flashing that wasn’t removed before the part was plated. It came off pretty easily but shouldn’t have made it to the customer that way. Also the part that threads onto the hose barb almost bottoms out. Eventually when the gasket compresses it won’t tighten enough to not leak. It may eventually need a double hose gasket. All in all it’s probably as good as any of them.
