This is a must have accessory for any sewer! Having a free foot for embroidery or quilting. It’s easy to put on the sewing machine and adds an extra level of functionality to your machine. It’s great quality for the price and fits on my brother machine well. So far it’s held up well for several projects and I’m very happy with it.

Mrs. Big-Foot here.. I do a lot of sewing (quilting mostly) and just love to spend time in my sewing room. When hubby showed me this, I was excited to give it a try! It fits my Janome machine just fine. It takes a bit of time to get used to it, but you’re going to open up all sorts of fun possibilities. I’m not crazy about darning, but hubby has asked me to sew up a couple of holes in his favorite jeans. Patching is now a lot more simple. I haven’t tried embroidery with it, but will be soon. It’s very well made and I really like this new tool - I think you will too.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this presser foot my Mrs. Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!

I've been wanting to get a free motion foot for awhile for my Singer. I have a Singer 4423 and these feet fit no problem. Was easy to install and take off. Just make sure you put your presser foot down and your feed dogs down. The metal piece goes under the screw for the needle. I usually also hold onto my thread as I begin just incase. The 1/4" foot fit no problem either. I'm not a quilter but will help with top stitching.I used to do wedding alertations and this was an invaluable foot for putting lace on net. Can be used in all kinds of creative uses including appllique. The front opening will help with any differences in height verses other ones that have a closed foot that you might have to lift the foot up.

This is a very nice couple of presser feet for your sewing machine. There is a Free Motion Darning presser foot, for which you will need a darning plate or a machine that lets you drop the feed dogs. This will allow you to move your fabric in any direction that you want as the machine sews. The other presser foot is the 1/4 inch Snap on Foot which has a guide to help you maintain a 1/4 inch seam allowance more easily, and it can also be used for accurate top stitching. The quality of both presser feet is good and I’ve had no trouble using them on my Singer machine.

I've never had issues with my needle until I used this. Second time using it and my needle broke. It was easy to install and get working and fit just fine. Not sure what happened with my needle though because I've never had issues before this.

I'm guessing this duo is meant for quilters doing a lot of precise quarter inch seams and free motion quilting. That's not me. I dabble with free motion embroidery and attach quite a bit of narrow bindings which also go on quite nicely with a 1/4" edge foot. The feet are stamped and a touch on the thin side, but no rough edges. Both are compatible with my low shank machines (vintage elna, kenmore, and singers) I do use an adaptor with the edge stitch foot. It does help give such nice precise seam allowances!I've used free motion quilting feet with a closed toe before, this was my first try with an open toe and overall it deals much better with uneven fabric thicknesses BUT I wish there was a left handed version as the one side is a touch higher than the other and I sometimes end up bunching the fabric because of this. Learning curve though, right?

Im very impressed with this foot. Works like a free motion foot where you can easily move your project (usually quilting) around freely. I used it to try to make a monogram stitch. I didn’t do a great job but thats on me, not the product. It was easy to install on my brother sewing machine. Sturdy metal build makes this feel very durable and last for years to come. I wish it came with instructions or photos on how to use. It came in a little bag with no instruction. Im a seasoned seamstress though and knew how to do this but a newbie may not intuitively know how to install or operate it.

This Metal Open Toe Free Motion Quilting Darning Presser Foot was an easy "plug and play" replacement park for my machine. This foot snapped right on and was ready to use almost instantly.Sewing was easy and I had no problems. I did not see any difference between the original and the replacement.
