So if you're looking for a magic product that will allow you to do circles with no intervention, this isn't it. The video makes it seem like you will absolutely be able to take hands off the fabric but that's just not the case. You do have to still guide the fabric, because it just goes in a straight line and sews straight off the edge with no interference. However, it does help immensely with curved lines. I'm not great at curved lines and that's why I got this. It did help a great deal with guidance. The other side that holds the hem does work nicely; it has a very strong hold on the fabric. The magnet is super strong so be aware of this. Overall, within expectations , this is a good tool to have.

It took me a while to figure the tool out but once I got the hang of it - it really helped with a straight seam. Product is excellent quality and the magnet sticks tight to the sewing machine. Note: I would suggest that manufacturer includes instructions especially for beginner sewers like me.

This gadget attaches easily to my sewing machine. It allows me to sew straight seams of various width. My projects look so much more professional with straight lines. The magnet holds tight. It’s high quality steel so will last a long time.

Terrible condition. Scratches and chucks missing. Definitely used and not new at all. Big scrapes on each side and chunks missing from the magnet.
