Installation steps of Rhino Arm Mount and night vision pvs14 (excluding night vision pvs14 and j-arm)
1.Correctly connect the mount to the helmet, press the device on the side of the interface, and snap the buckle of the bracket into the notch of the helmet. If it does not fall off, the installation is successful.
2.Align the j-arm mount with the interface of the night vision PVS14 or other night vision devices, tighten the screws, and install the night vision correctly. If it is not loose or slipping, it means it is installed correctly.

The bayonet socket is not to spec leaving the unit very unstable. It doesn't fully lock into place. Don't waste your money like I did.

The product arrived and looked great, but when attempted to attach it the dovetail is out of spec and doesn't lock into the helmet. The clip for the J-arm to attach is also put of spec and won't attach the goggles on the other end.I am unable to use the product.

this absolutely in no way takes a regular j arm or pvs 7 clip, there is just no where near enough room to fit my pvs7 in there. reading the reviews I am not alone and it appears this will only work with a j arm made by the same people. its a real shame because this is well built and very solid with smooth wiggle free movement on all adjustments.

You may find it will not lock up with some Jarm adapters. Returned the unit due to incompatibility with Jarm for Nightvision. Other than that the rest of the mount were fine with no issues.

I had ordered a different brand but had to return it due to the amount of wobble, adjustable slide not working and the dovetail mount not fitting a PSV 14 as advertised. This item was a little more expensive but well worth it. I'm using it on a bump helmet and the fit is absolutely perfect. It's tight with no wobble and the adjustable slide works. I had to send back my Sightmark Wraith 4K that I will be using on this mount due to the fact it arrived with a defective IR illuminator. When I get it back I'll update this post to advise on it's fit. Definitely buy this product if you want a tight fit for your bump (FAST) helmet.UPDATE: Works perfectly with the Sightmark Wraith 4K Monocular.

With my mount, I needed to shim the plate to fit into the helmet mount, which is not big deal. Next, I had to modify my dovetail to make it fit. It’s slightly off from spec. For $60, that’s to be expected. With bungees on my NVGs, it holds secure. While it doesn’t appear to have a “breakaway” I’m certain the dovetail will break before the mount/nods

Well, I purchased another PSV-15 NV mount from another company and it was basically useless for even basic hunting, walking, etc. So I went with this mount hoping it would be sturdy and could function for less than full tactical use. Well, it is pretty good. Holds the helmet mount solid, minimum wiggle, appears to be well made (would loktite the joint screws). Overall for 60 bucks this performs good. If you are going into the junk for 30 days, get a $500 mount, but for personal use and/or hunting, and light tactical this will work just fine.

I was impressed with the fit, very snug where the j arm connects and also to my Lancer helmet. Some of the reviews had me worried it would be loose fitting. Not to worry if using mil-spec pvs14 and j arm. Well made and functions perfectly. Even the fde-ish finish is well done.
