Too big they don’t fit

They look great. Uniform in size. Use a dead-blow hammer to drive them home once you have your holes drilled. If you're going to drill a guitar body to receive these, you'll need two sizes: One for the barrel, and one for the flanged lip. A drill press is HIGHLY recommended. The following Forstner bits will get you there:Roman Carbide DC1886 Carbide Forstner Bit, 8mmRoman Carbide DC1887 Carbide Forstner Bit, 10mm

Same as above, bought for an authentic Fender Telecaster and they are too big, not willing to take a drill to a treasured instrument, disappointing.

Perfect description and perfect product! Installed yesterday and love them. Putting strings through the body stopped buzzing on the high E. I feel like the guitar sounds better too somehow. Great product and highly recommend.

Had one of these missing on my 72 Tele and this set fit right in place. No hassle to replace.

These are good ferrules. They fit snugly, which is perfect. In fact, the main reason I'm writing this review is that I suspect if I'd just pounded them in, it might have cracked the paint or more. So here's what I did; I used an oversize drill bit to chamfer the painted surface. Then I put the ferrules in the freezer for a while. Then I tapped them into place with a soft-face mallet. Go slowly.
