It was very unfortunate that I had to relocate the factory radio in the trunk to retain the info screen above the stereo but this harness made the work not too bad. I was already adding a backup camera to I needed to pop up all the panels to run that wire already.

Not sure if knock off product or what, but harness I got does not have same connectors in pictures. Crutchfield has same part and it works!

Because I have the JBL system in my car, this item did not fit. I required the 70-8215 AMP wiring harness. As I waited beyond the return date to do the job, I’m stuck with it. My own fault. Can’t honestly rate product as I was unable to use. Will sell at a discount to anyone in need though.

These harness kits are super convenient because it makes installations quick and you don't have fabricate your own, all without having to cut the factory wiring. It also comes with the steering wheel plug pre wired with the needed resistor and aux plug, nice.

Product requires relocating your old radio elsewhere - which allows using your AC control panel. This alone is a Toyota snafu, and one that makes me sad that I even own a Toyota. Back to the cables, I waited almost two weeks for delivery, which also made me sad. I am no longer accustomed to waiting for anything this trivial for so long, and my mechanic completely forgot about it with all that time passing by. Two weeks is 336 hours or 20,160 minutes. Lots of things can happen in two weeks. Economies can crash, pimples can come and go, someone who really wants to can drive over 7,000 miles - but who wants to drive that many miles? I supposed a trip to California and back has some appeal, but I would want to rest instead of driving 500 miles a day. I could fly out there, and have 12 solid days of fun. While there, maybe I could find this cable in a store or at the importer's place of business...? Maybe I would better understand why shipping took 20,160 minutes? Maybe the cable was put on a big container ship heading from China to the US. That takes almost two weeks, right? Oh, I have to send the cable back because there's no place to relocate my old car radio to.

It does the job but I lost the steering-wheel controls functions for my radio, and my factory cassette player no longer works. This harness could be improved for those added features. Would be nice to have those as well.
