If you've used a dash install kit before you shouldn't have any issues, the instructions can be a bit confusing however I bought a cup holder to work in to this kit so I did have to modify it to work with that.

This kit is so universal, it's not good for much of anything. If you are buying this for a 1g DSM (1990-94 Eclipse/Talon/Laser), save your money and skip his purchase. You'd be better off giving some kindergartners some glue and Popsicle sticks to cobble up a receiver install kit. In all seriousness, acquire the metal brackets from the sides of the OEM radio receiver and use those to install your aftermarket receiver. They will fit and work 10x better.

Has anyone installed this into a 98 mitsubishi 3000gt SL? If so how did it do. My fiance is fed up buying ones that say they fit just to find out they're looser than a worn out lot lizard. He's about to custom mold it himself

Bought this for an installation in my girlfriends car. It lines up and works nicely, plus looks quite nice, tho in her 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage it was kind of inset towards the back, and made the numbers hard to press. Also, may have sometimes put pressure on the face-plate eject button so the stereo would randomly turn off but if pressed on, on the other end it would click and come back on. Since then we have just taken the trim panel off from around the stereo.

It worked missing, pieces had to use some from the broken one I was replacing

Very flimsy. Broke while handling. Hard to understand and follow directions. Way to many parts. It was a one size fits all. Just trim away all the parts and tabs and whatever else may not fit your application and hope for the best. Just be gentle so you don't break any of the parts that are left

Thieves ripped out the stereo from my convertible car. This installation kit had everything I needed, and then some, to fit a much cheaper replacement stereo into my dashboard. The price was very reasonable.

Too many parts and not really a good product. The instructions were difficult to comprehend and overall, instead of using this product, I opted to go to my local junk yard and get the original equipped radio brackets for my install.
