I got this for a 2003 Honda Civic and installing it for a "Kenwood DPX503BT Double DIN Bluetooth CD AM/FM USB Car Audio Receiver" It fits nicely! Ignore how slanted on the top it is, one of the brackets from the vehicle itself is missing but overall, it fits nicely and no modifications had to be done (:

I was a little bit worried after ordering this kit and seeing that some people had struggled to pop the faceplate into place, however upon installation, I realized that with a little bit of finesse, you can get all four corners to fit in just fine. Because the dash curves both vertically and horizontally, you have to essentially apply some pressure to the sides, while almost "bulging" the middle to get it to fit just right, but it will satisfyingly click into place. Just be careful not to snap anything. A screwdriver was helpful to gently bend some of the tabs to fit into place.

The main problem is that a double DIN radio is too big to fit into this frame. The standard double DIN is 180mm X 100mm. This adapter has an opening size of 174mm X 98mm. That is way too small to fit a radio into. So, I had to use my oscillating saw to cut off the left and right sides and also trim down the corners on the top and bottom. I don't see why they can't get this right and provide the correct sized opening for my HIZPO GPS/radio, but I don't think there is any other game in town, so you just have to modify it to make it fit. (see my photos of the modifications I had to make). I also had to cut a rubber plug off the radio that exceeded the DIN dimensions. The harness kit is handy, but I don't see why they force us to make our own harness when they could have just standardized the radio side of the connection and just provided a prebuilt harness that plugs in. It's a lot of work to splice that together. I used lock jaw pliers to make the crimps and neatly bundled everything up. Another problem was that this was shipped in an unprotected bubble wrap sleeve and one of the prongs got broken off in shipping. They really need to ship this in rigid box to prevent damage. As an update, it may be possible that you don't have to pull the entire receiver through the bracket so that the face fits on top of the bracket. You may be able to just have the 'nose' of the receiver go through the hole which leaves the receiver recessed in the bracket. So you wouldn't need to cut off the sides.

Unlike other comments made about the fitment of this item, I found that mine did not need to be trimmed in the least. Although I did find that in order to get it to snap into place, I had to arch it slightly to get the last corner to seat, but once in, it was snug as it was designed to be. I highly recommend you not trim it as suggested in other comments. This one is also better than the other brand as it didn't have the bar across the middle, and from pictures I've seen, that left a visible mark. Excellent purchase and value for the price, fitment was great. I installed mine in a 2001 Civic Coupe.
