This part is the answer for 1988 to 1998 GM trucks. I have installed new ball joints on hundreds of the GMT400's over the years I have been a technician and these trucks always have issues with front end geometry after they get lift keys installed or even the torsion bars cranked up the controll arm hits the frame and you can't adjust the camber to spec. I always recommend installing new upper arms designed for 2" to 4" lift the mevotech ball joint has extended range of motion so no bind and hopefully they will last a lot longer than the others Well built felt like good quality and the price was really reasonable

They are very well built they are significantly larger than OEM but still fits perfectly definitely going to be buying the matching parts for the rest of my suspension and steering.

Bought these in addition to lower ball joints by mevotech. Both are absolutely junk. Wore out prematurely and not a strong balljoint.

It’s good ball joint fixed perfect on gmc 1998 working great . Don’t buy cheap junk you will be replace all the time , same labor time buy a good ball joint .
