The MG1000-450W-SW has an integrated long-life 450LM LED Array (Equal to a 40-Watt Light Bulb) with EMI Suppression in an affordable, energy saving security lighting solution with built-in Photo Sensor that will Arm and Disarm Automatically while in Motion Security Mode.
The fixture has “POLARITY GUARD” to ease the difficulty of the installation by correcting the Polarity in the RV Automatically if needed.
The fixture also has “INTELA-SENSOR” that alerts when the Coach Battery is at or Below 11.5 Volts by blinking a RED led but will not affect the functionality of the fixture. (Fixture is powered by the Coach Battery).
The PIR SENSOR has Adjustable Sensitivity that will allow the Detection Foot Print to be Adjusted.

MOTION-GUARD, MG1000-450W light is a must have when camping in remote locations. My wife likes the fact that this light comes on when motion is detected. It is very sensitive and will even pick up animals that wander through your campsite. If we were to buy another camper this would definitely be one of the first upgrades I would do!

This is super bright, possibly TOO bright while camping close to your neighbors. It has to settings, one operates as just a light on, the other, operates as a motion light. One flick on it's a regular light, turn off and one again, it's now a motion light. Installation was simple, remove the old light, install this one and apply sealer as necessary. It was significantly larger than the small original light, so I had to drill two more holes to mount it, but I did use two of the existing holes. I've used it for a year now, no issues with it, seems like a quality product.

Four starrs in my opinion because there was two mounting screws for the electronics board. Was able to unsnap board and install where needed.Gasket for lens is easier to keep in place if you install in shell and snap the Lens on.Other than that works well. Mode change is easy as flipping the switch . It's bright and nice to have it come on when we approach.Has dusk to dawn and always on as settings too.

It was easy to swap out with the existing outside light. The motion detector works. I haven't test it for distance but I do know it works when you approach the light. Blue flashing light show it is armed, green light as you approach and the sensor turns the light on, red light if the battery is too low to trigger it. All seems fine.

The MOTION-GUARD, MG1000-450W is everything that it is advertised to be. It really improves the look of the RV, functions well, is very bright and really exceeds the performance of the factory installed smaller unit! I also purchased the adapter plate to complete the finished look and got the additional amber lens. The installation instructions are thorough, easy to understand and most RV/coach owners would be able to do it themselves.Most importantly, the customer support from Gregg Wilson at RV LED LITES is the best I've seen. Perfect outdoor light, motion detection works well and light is nice and bright.The fact that you can flip the switch and the light stays on until you turn it off is awesome.

I was looking to upgrade my 2015 Minnie Winnie RV OEM entry light with motion sensor feature. After research on various manufactures and types of motion sensor that are available with and without power. I decided to go with MG1000-450W model based on; features, user settings, ease of installation, and return value. It definitely added extra security measure for night motion detection and brightness. The white light really shine 25 feet outward from the light source and good visibility. This feature really helped when we dry camp in a remote camp area where there is limited lighting on site. It was easy installation with the help of the light designer. I called for some support question before i started the replacement of the light and was talking directly with the engineer. He was very helpful and provide good insight information and was very proud of his product. Very happy with this upgrade and value added to my Minnie.

I consider the MG1000-450 Motion RV LED Porch Light to be a necessity. I'm a single full-time RVer and I was staying at a very popular park in Orlando in 2012. Around 5am I was awakened by a loud bang. Then there was another loud bang. I was scared, really scared, and my heart seemed to be beating out of my chest. From the damage to my door, it appears they were attempting to pry it open, leaving a gouge in the metal and the door bent. I've had the door re-aligned, but it still isn't right.Thereafter, I began a quest for personal protection. I found the Starlights SL-1000 motion detector porch light and had it installed. I could keep my light on all night, without disturbing my neighbors because the light would only come on when something got within range of the door. The light wasn't very bright, but it was bright enough to be a deterrent.Two and a half years later the light stopped working. I found RV LED LITES at the Phoenix Good Sam rally. They tested the bulb (what I thought was wrong) which worked, so they said my house batteries were not strong enough to run the light. Then I talked to Gregg Wilson the designer of the product and gave a diagnosis of moisture getting in the unit. He showed me the new MG1000-450 motion detector. I checked my batteries, nothing was wrong with them, so I purchased the new light from http://rvledlites.com/.WOW!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Beyond being easy to install, the fixture has a 450 lumens LED bulb which is equal to a 40 watt bulb and it is truly a flood light! The light is so bright, it would scare anyone away. It lights up the site so brightly I can grill in the dark without any additional lighting. The motion detector (which is adjustable) works so when I come home in the dark and am within 35 feet of the light, my site lights up for me to see my way and get my key in the door.I am so excited about this product. I feel such a sense of safety and security having it light the entry side of the motorhome. I recommend this product for ALL RVers. With the brightness and motion detector sensor, you will be as thrilled as I am.
