This ball head is so nice. It's like a piece of art in the way it looks and feels when you use it. Everything moves with so much fluidity. I love everything about it except for one thing. It is very big. My daily tripod is a carbon fiber travel-sized tripod which is quite small. I was planning on using this with that tripod, but now I'm rethinking that. It's not that I can't use it on a travel tripod. It's just that it kind of defeats the purpose of having a small tripod when the ball head is this hefty and large. Still an easy five stars though. You get what you pay for with this, that's for sure.

This is a solid ball head with a very wide range of motion. It locks down tightly and won’t move. It’s easy to adjust and overall a good value for a rugged ball head.
