If your dog doesn't pee - good just to avoid marking territory in the house. So, worked for us as a “training” tool to protect carpet. If your you need actually to hold the liquid - holds literally 0.

and let down by the sizing. My dog's waist is 15-1/2" so I ordered the Large (L) based on the 14" to 18" sizing. Now, a 4" spread is sizable considering the Medium (M) is only a 2" spread and as it happens the L was way too big for my dog. Thinking that, like many sized options, the fit was not perfect and probably ran smaller I returned the L and ordered a M. Well, the M barely goes around him. All the other styles have proven to be ineffective so this was my Hail Mary but at least the sticky part of the velco is hidden and hopefully this style won't come off every time he lays down and wiggles about. Super bummed it will "have to do."

I have small breed dogs, I can’t answer for larger breeds. I have several kinds of wraps so thought I’d try the thinner ones instead of the thicker ones. I love these. I put feminine pads cut in 1/2 in my wraps so they don’t have to be washed as often. I also like the wraps that have the contour fit, wider & rounded on one side. You can place it on either side but the longer round area works best for me toward the back of the legs. I will be getting more of these!
