I ordered these because I thought I could use them to build a couple of reverb effect pedals for use with high impedance microphones but I haven't been able to get enough audio output from them to drive the input of an amplifier.I 3D printed a small 3"x3" project box to build the assembly in and the small board fit well along with a power jack and two 1/4" jacks for the input and output. I used a 9V DC power adapter to power the board which is about the middle of the 5V to 16V required to power the board. I used an extremely hot microphone on the input and ran the output into a small PA amplifier with a high impedance input. Even with the microphone and the amplifier at maximum volume I could barely get any output from the amplifier speaker. These may work well in their intended design but there were absolutely no instructions technical specifications to even show how or where they are to be installed. I suspect that the main reason they do not work for me is due to an impedance matching problem. These are probably designed for low impedance input and output and I am using high impedance equipment. Unfortunately, since there is no information included with the reverb units there is no way to tell without reverse engineering the circuit to determine the circuit requirements.I docked them 2 stars for the lack of instructions. The boards do seem to be well made at least!
