Got this to help save my voice for a large event and I'm pretty happy with the results. Obviously, it's not the loudest device ever but even a little amplification was able to help me project and save my voice. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this little thing.

This amplifying device would be helpful at family gatherings and special events, along with teaching. Upon testing, I found the sound to be fine, but may have limited distance for larger rooms depending on its overall configuration. I was only able to test it out within my home, which is under 5,000 sf and liked it's features and ease of use. Overall, its pairs effortlessly, which is really helpful, and has a good battery life. Plus, you can try it, and if it doesn't work well for you, return in within the 30-day window.

The primary purpose of this product is as a microphone amplifier, like a portable PA. It does that pretty well. The microphone is tiny, attaches to your shirt or hangs around your neck. The speaker/amplifier portion is small and light. You can wear it around your neck, clip it to your belt, or place it some distance away (range is around 25 feet). There is a substantial delay between your voice and the amplified sound. So if you were in a classroom, say, if anyone is close to you, they would hear your voice and the amplified voice and it would sound annoyingly echo-y. More practical is when the nearest audience members are a distance away such that they could not hear your voice well and everyone is hearing only the speaker.Sound quality is very good. Clear, no noise, pretty low distortion. Good for voice, not for music, as the noise reduction circuit is designed for voice. I tried playing a music source and the mic picks it up but it fades in and out.It will operate as a Bluetooth speaker, though not one you'd want to use for music, as sound quality is poor. But great for voice (like podcasts) and quite loud. There are also some modes where it somehow uses an SD/TF card or a USB memory stick but I could not understand what it does or how it works. I think it's supposed to be able to record the voice as it amplifies. But I could not figure out how and the instruction sheet is no help. The text is amazingly tiny (I mean, like maybe 3 point type). Even magnified, it's so badly written in broken English, that many sections are undecipherable, at least to me.No matter, it's really an audio mike amplifier and I am rating it as such. 4 stars for that function, maybe 2 stars if you are thinking of recording.Nicely made, small and light..

Personal microphone and speaker is a mini megaphone PA system. With its wireless and portable design, and high quailty sound, it is very useful for teachers. I will recommend this to a friend who is a teacher.
