Does the job, however has some engineering flaws. If you are planning on hard wiring it, you will have a hard time tucking all the wires inside the absurdly small electrical compartment it has. Charcoal filter greatly reduces output when using it in recirc mode.

Very Easy and quick to set up as I just chose the recirculated mode rather than an external exhaust mode. I attached four screws in the bottom of the cupboard and two in the back of the wall. Since I chose re circulation mode I had to attach the round carbon filter and flip the switch to up position and tighten with a Philips head screw driver.

This is one of the cheapest, junk items Midea has ever created. I am so dissatisfied. The instructions are unclear, with consistent grammatical errors. The item itself is cheap and flimsy. There was no thought to the instillation process and some of the screw holes are unreachable because immovable trim on the device. It can not be hardwired, and must be plugged in. It does come with ONE charcoal filter, but you can not find replacements, and Midea customer support also could not tell me where I can order replacements when the time comes. I wish I could return this item, but it's installed now, and there is no way I can get it down without destroying my kitchen.I WAS a fan of Midea items (I have their U window AC as well as the cube dehumidifier) but after this experiance, I don't think I will be purchasing any other of their items.

Dang I really like this unit, but it had scratches from loose hardware. Seller refunded me right away ( good seller) and product looked well made. I had to do job that same day otherwise I would have requested replacement.I ended up spending way more money to do job.Just check box for rattles , if so close inspection for packing damage.Again…Great seller

It looks great and seems to work well. The downside is it is really loud and has a weird sound to it. It also did not come with the proper screws to be able to hang it correctly.

It isn’t of the highest quality but it is good for the money spent. It works good and I don’t have any real complaints. Would buy again if I was to ever need another one.

Was this product even QC'd? Not only did this have 2 small dents, we also had to install this and take it apart to fix the fan because the bracket was completely bent that the fan couldn't even spin and now the filter doesnt lay flat because the screws wont lay flat against the bracket.. for the price you get what you get I guess.

Doesnt include electrical cord. I reused the one from the old hood. Also, knocking out the inserts isnt the easiest task. Unit looks good and works like a charm!

I really like this product overall. It came with no dents and perfect condition. When installing, it was super easy and was a perfect fit. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. It works great and the lighting is an extra bonus. Overall, I think this was a great product for the amount I paid and is worth it!

This unit is relatively light weight, fits in our price budget and the instruction guide is easy to understand. The filter and parts are all included, the two reusable aluminum mesh filters are easy to wash, it looks good and modern,the stainless steel finish looks great and is easy to clean. Overall, it's a reliable, efficient, and stylish choice for any kitchen. I am so far satisfied with my purchase .
