Perfect to keep in the car or bag to slip on quickly. When my parking lot became a skating rink this winter they were great to slip on to get to the car and from it, but easy to take off once safely in the car or house. Love the traction nubbins instead of spikes, and the easy adjustability of the straps to fit different boots and shoes. These are not for ice climbing or extreme conditions, but are an excellent solution to temporary hazardous footing. Very sturdily made, I expect them to last several seasons. For the price, an excellent value.

These cleats are incredibly easy to attach to any pair of shoes, and they provide fantastic traction on icy and slippery surfaces. I feel so much safer walking on ice now, as the cleats grip firmly, preventing any slips or falls. The design is compact and lightweight, so I don't even notice they’re there while walking, yet they offer reliable stability.

Easy to put on and take off and adjust as needed. I just keep them on my boots and turn them around when I don't need the cleats. Work great

I am currently living with my parents as their caregiver in a climate where there's snow on and off during the winter. I don't like walking or driving in frozen precipitation so I got some full shoe cleats to strap on during wintry periods. But it's such a hassle to put those things on, walk to a store, then remove them while in the store, carry them and put them back on to walk back to my car, so I got these UNITACKLE Mid-sole cleats to make it easier to run quick errands and not slip on the way in/out of the store.I have only used them a few times so far but they have made my life easier. They are easy to put on and take off, and I love how portable they are so I can throw them in a bag and take them with me if we're expecting snowy weather. I also appreciate the bright orange color so I cannot miss them when I'm looking for them. The product description mentions you can rotate the strap when not using the cleat part, but I found it difficult to walk with them on due to the buckle now being on the sole side of my shoe.For long walks outdoors, I will still use my full shoe cleats as I think they provide more ample coverage to help me stay upright, but for the bulk of my outdoor time during snowy/icy periods, I am running quick errands and these mid-sole cleats work great!

These cleats are the cat’s meow.They are very easy to put on, take off, and stow. They easily fit in your pocket.The grip very well on ice, but aren’t sharp and damaging in case you forget to take them off right away.The orange strap is a great idea to remind you to take them off!They also work really well in snow. You just have to keep them in the middle of the boot so they stay on. But if they should fall off, the orange color is easy to spot.

Works well for icy Alaskan roads. It’s hard to find cleats for kids, so these strap on ones work well for our almost 8 year old’s snow boots. It helps her get traction and are easy to take on and off.

So they're not as comfortable as full foot units but if you have to traverse a short distance and want to be able to take them on and off after ground into a shop environment then these are what youre looking for.

We've only had a small bit of snow since I received these, so I haven't had a chance to try them on some serious ice/snow yet. My trial on our small amount of snow went well. I was concerned about the band coming loose from around my boot, but it didn't. I'm a larger person, so was curious if the gripping pins would hold up to my heavy footed walk. They did. Time will tell if they last, but all immediate indications are that these will do just fine to get me short distances in nasty weather. I wouldn't go hiking or long distances in them, but to the post and back or to the corner store, they should be fine.
