Replaced the cord on my Miele Topaz. My bird who likes to chew on everything decided to sever it. Anybody with half a brain and YouTube can do it. So easy, and I cleaned out the inside of my vacuum while I was in there. It's functioning like it's brand new now and it's a 10 year old model. Thank you for bringing my Miele back to life!

After 23 years of excellent service, the cord broke internally at the plug end. My last service shop repair cost $225. It to me two hours to learn how to disable and reassemble the reel and save $200. Next time I will be able to do it in 30 minutes. The plug seems better reinforced than that on the OEM cord, so I'm hoping for a longer service life.

The cord fit perfectly no issues I love my vacuum and wanted factory parts but this is all that was available so I got it an it’s perfect no problems

This cord works great and just like original factory. Comes with end fittings installed making install easy. The whole process can be done quickly or gives you an opportunity to take your time and clean out the dust and dirt that's filled the inner chambers of canister. An easy job if you're patient.

With a spring rewind cord, didn't expect it to last for ever. 9 years was good though. Now after checking out problem it was the cord ( no continuity on the neutral side - so broken wire) - Spring was working well.Nice I didn't need to buy the big unit with both parts but just the cord . Very Pleased - High quality and same length as the original

This is a good quality replacement cord for my C1 Classic Delphi. I called other parts suppliers and they only sold the cord with the reel assembly which is much more money. The plug end looks very similar to the original and the female spade connectors were a perfect fit for the canister’s male spade connectors. No splicing, crimping, wire nuts or anything else was needed. I knocked off a star because cords should be wound, maintaining a circular shape, whereas this arrived wrapped or nearly folded. It will take time for the cord to adjust to the shape of the reel, which effects how easily it retracts into the reel assembly. If it were shipped in a wound pattern, as is pictured, it would not have any issues at all.

The product came as ordered. Hubby repaired the one vacuum and it works really nice. The cord does get warm with use, but I think the old one did as well.
