I bought this ball a few years ago and it's held up well. Still holds air and is round. The black lettering started wearing off pretty quick but I use it mostly on asphalt courts that would tear up any ball. I find it has enough grip and it was also the right size. However, the price has almost doubled since I bought it so I'd probably buy something else considering that.

Great price and nice basketball but leather is already peeling. Only used probably 10 times. Long enough to have no way to return or complain.

The posting was for an official size basketball but I received a youth sized ball.I was disappointed but decided to gift it for my niece upcoming birthday.Good quality, wrong size.

Similar to the other posts, I feel that this is a bit lighter than the Wilsons/Spaldings but I never had to re-inflate this bball since I got it(which I had to constantly with the last Wilson I used prior to purchasing the Mikasa, practically every week during the winter when the temperatures fluctuate). It's also easier to identify this as yours when bballs get aggregated to the side (assuming the Mikasa is not being used as the game ball) in case someone decides to pilfer them. I will most likely purchase another Mikasa but upgrade to the next model up.

I grew up using a Mikasa and got this one for my boy and he loves it. All the kids on his team want to use it. Its time for new one and I looked to buy this one on amazon. But I dont what they are selling. THERE ARE 2 COMPACT SIZES. C 28.5 and j 27.5 which one is amazon calling compact?
