These cruise door magnets are pretty cute, but there are a few downsides. One of the "Our First Cruise" magnets is hard to read and looks like "we First Cruise." I had to decode it for my husband. :o) The size is great. The pen that comes with the magnets is not a dry erase pen -- but it's not a wet erase pen, either, really. Using the 'eraser' on the end of the pen just smeared the writing and took off a little of the ink. But even after using a damp paper towel, there was still ghosting that I couldn't remove. I used my own dry erase markers on one of the magnets, though, and it erased perfectly. So maybe just use your own marker. Also, the magnet on the marker doesn't seem strong enough to stay on a cabin door through opening and closing the door. A few of the magnets are kind of bent, and they'll need to be put under a stack of books to get them flat I think.

I tend to over analyze things, but there’s a method to my madness. I received these quickly before a birthday cruise vacation. They are good quality, colorful, stick to metal very well, and easily pull off the surface and can be reused again and again. Makes for a super easy and fun way to decorate your cruise cabin door or room interior for a birthday. Easy enough to pack, slap upon the door or walls in only a moments notice to surprise the birthday person. A couple of them were a bit curled in the package, but stuck and flattened out with some time.

These looked great, but not strong enough for cruise ship doors. Used additional strong magnets to hold vinyl on.
