I bought this to use with a single flute countersink on aluminum and it worked extremely well. The little rubber like feet made it easy to hold it in place without needing to clamp it.

Product works great with softwood, but the additional space underneath the block causes the drill bit to tear/rip hardwood.

So easy to use. Well built but inexpensive, I have them stashed with every drill. The V-block feature is a great bonus. Have never properly cross-drilled round stock in field conditions until I used this tool.

When i decided to hang this shelf as a free floating shelf so you couldn't see any hanging brackets, this little tool came to the rescue to guide my drill in straight and level with the wall. It helped my shelf to come out level. I can see using this on all of my wood projects now instead of guessing on a straight hole. Great tool for the price!

This is a great pocket tool when working mobile or stationary. Solid build platform that works well on many types of material. Keeps drill bits anchored on flat or angled surface.The only draw back i can see this far are the padded feet. I would like to see the feet with a little more padding or grip to adhere to the surface better.

Its like one of those statements 'the professionals secret' its so simple yet for years I have prated about trying to drill holes in metal with a battery drill. The bit skidding about damaging all around. Slow speed fast speed anything in between. Centre punching, auto punches everything that for one reason or another does not work. THIS DOES WORK . I noticed some makes of this tool are very expensive for no reason I can see. this guide does what you want and does it well.
