Great tool for map & compass navigation. Paid $10 here, then checked web address on the protractor and learned I could have purchased it for about $4!

Have not yet had a long-distance use to be able to rate the accuracy of the increment markings. The overall quality appears good. It is sturdy enough for field use, but not so rigid that it will snap like your standard "school protractor". This is a good piece for land nav training and general hiking use.

Map Protractors need to be very precise in order to produce accurate readings. However, the lines and cut outs on this protractor are very crooked and uneven. This makes it effectively useless as a protractor because it does not produce accurate readings.

A great affordable product. Just getting into search and rescue operations and one of the other folks had a similar device. Makes plotting and course easy!

Truly authentic military item, as if shipped straight from SFAS and the Q Course. The ridiculous amount of scratches it arrived with I can live with, but when numbers are rubbed off and there's an unremovable sticker covering the lower quadrant, it's nearly useless. Hopefully nobody in that area needs fires, because I don't know if DIVARTY knows where grid "STICKER SMUDGE SMUDGE" is.Too bad I couldn't find one at my unit by the time I needed it, because I could've bought a beer with the money I wasted on this.

Overall good. Exactly what it is supposed to be. Just looks all scratched up and used.
