This is a great mini chainsaw option! The price is amazing and the size and weight are perfect. I think I have an irrational love of mini chainsaws, lol. They are so handy around the yard I don't know what I did before I had one. The battery is easy to charge and lasts as I would expect. I would highly recommend everyone have one of these for home use if you have a yard, and also this makes an amazing gift for other home owners, male or female, in my opinion.

We have some small trees behind our house that have needed trimming, but they're not big enough to justify using a full size chainsaw but not small enough to use clippers on without wearing yourself out. This was the PERFECT solution. 6" is the perfect size as we've also used a 4" mini chainsaw which worked well, but this size definitely made things easier.I would definitely recommend for anyone that just needs something for small jobs

What I like about this little chainsaw:1) Use Dewalt 20v battery. For those who already have Dewalt power tools and batteries, this is a huge advantage because you can share Dewalt accessories you already own.2) The saw is portable and handy3) Even though there is no spare chain that comes with the saw, 6-inch chains are common and very easy to buy when needed.4) The case is nice

This mini chainsaw is great! It is compatible with my DeWalt batteries and is a little power house of a chainsaw! Cut through small branches with no issues! It comes with it's own little carrier for easy storage and ease of mobility to take with you wherever you need it. My husband and I own a bunch of properties plus we flip houses so this chainsaw will definitely come in handy! Instructions were super easy to comprehend. Design is ergonomic friendly. And the fact that I can use my DeWalt batteries is even better! Would highly recommend!

I have seen these and figured they were nearly worthless. But I figured I would try one, since I have to have the latest gadget, especially if I can hook a Dewalt battery to it and expand my infrastructure usage.I was actually surprised. Here's a take:Pros- WAY more power than I expected. Not as fast as a real chainsaw, but way better than I thought. Cuts through 4-5" stock with little issues. If it pinches, it may stop, but just relieve the tension and start again.- Small enough that my wife will use to cut up smaller stuff to go to the curb (of course it lays there until I actually take it).- Comes with a carrying case that has additional room for other stuff too (like extra chains).- Toolless design. Can remove the cover and adjust the chain tension with bare hands.- Storage in the handle for the oil bottle- Battery life is more than I expected. I used to cut up a couple small trees to take to the curb (about 10 footers) and just barely used one bar on my 9AH batt.Cons- No oiler built in - you have to use a small bottle and oil the bar periodically or you'll get a lot of wear. At least they gave you two bottles (mismatched and not the same size/color...)- You need a firm grip. Since it is so small, but powerful, it can yank pretty hard if you catch/pinch on something.- Tensioning adjustment is suspect. I'm not sure if it slips if you try too hard to tension, or if I am actually twisting the knob off.- Requires constant oiling and retentioning. Like after every 4-5 cuts of 1-1/2 to 2" branches.- All the danger of a real chainsaw in a smaller package. You have to be aware and stay safe or you can really hurt someone (maybe even you).- Mine had no manual. I have no way to tell what the replacement chain is for the saw. I believe it is a 1/4", 37 link (I counted), so I will try that.I broke mine the first day. I got it pinched cutting about a 4-inch branch about 5 feet above ground. I moved the branch to free the bar. When I did, it fell to the ground. I had a HEAVY 9AH batt on the saw (weighs more than the saw, I think). It hit on the edge of the battery and broke the plastic base, where the battery slides in. I was able to grab a plastic welder and use several staples to repair it. See last pic. Not pretty, but it saved the tool. Batteries go in/out and you would never know I had broken it. Where was the plastic welder for the last 40 years of my life.Overall, way more function and pretty easy to use. You do need to make sure to keep a good grip on it and stay safe!

This 20 volt chain saw works well on small branches. We cut much of our own firewood and this is so convenient to have for the smaller stuff. It's great to have the little oil bottle latched into the handle so I can easily keep it lubricated; I've never seen that on a compact chainsaw before. It comes with a plastic storage case that has room to store the saw and a battery (it didn't come with a battery but we already had several). The latches on the storage case seem of decent quality but the other side has no hinges -- it's just plastic that bends -- so I am sure that will eventually break. I am left-handed and was not able to hold down the safety lock button and squeeze the handle at the same time so I had to learn to use it in my right hand.
