I am taking these in to my work where I have surface plates large enough to measure the flatness of the rails and their consistency in measurements. Update: Tested against a surface plate they actually warped a little and cupped up towards the middle. This wouldn't be a problem after mounting them and screwing them down, however it was difficult to test against. Testing the rail against the carriage block was flat +/- 0.0035". Not terrible for the price, but I will be returning them regardless because the price to these was increased 50% the day after I got one for a test fit, and buying 3 sets + extra carriage blocks is not in the budget for my project anymore due to this.However so far they glide well and feel nice. They came with a thin coating of oil / cosmoline / grease to prevent corrosion.I am disappointed that they came with only 1 block but I should have read the description more carefully.The shipping was awful. They came wrapped in a plastic bag which is fine. It was made of a thick blue plastic. They were also wrapped in shrink wrap tightly to prevent them from bashing into each other. However they were not padded at all. They were able to flop around the box as there was only 2 sheets of padding paper. Would recommend packing peanuts instead, and wrapping them in bubble wrap.Disappointed that these had one in stock when I purchased mine, and when they restocked the price was increased by +50%! That's wild.
