The old mini camcorder tapes do not record correctly. Most of them continue to be out of alignment ever after I try to clean the older camcorder tapes. I dont understand why the new camcorder is not working with older tapes

Played a cassette and said head needs cleaning. Bought a dvc cleaner and cleaned several times. No improvement in playback quality. Dissatisfied with this purchase.
