Shipping took some time but it was exactly what I expected it to be. There was a very annoying sticker that would not come off even with glue-gone.

product does come with sticky tape/paper that is impossible to get off. After reading a review stating this, i knew what to do before using. I soaked in soapy water over night and scraped off with a butter knife.

Okay product. Stupid placement of label all the way to the edge of the blade. The sticker would not come off defeating the purpose of this product having a steel blade.

Pro: It’s a trim guide. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.Con: They put a label sticker on the it and it is frustratingly difficult to take off. It’s supposed to be a tool that helps with a project, not a project itself.

Where has this thing been all my life!? I painted my entire bathroom in one day using this instead of tape! Sooo much easier it's crazy. Doesn't work to do a bumpy ceiling but worked great for the walls and trim!

This might be good for a very small project, but I am painting half of the inside of my house - two bedrooms, closets, bathroom, and hallway. That is a LOT of ceiling, baseboard, windows, and door frame cut-ins to do. It will take forever to use at only 12" long. Worse, the actual usable blade is only 9/16" wide. Because of this, you will need to use a tiny brush, no more than an inch or so wide, or you are going to be putting most of the paint on your hands and the handle of the tool. Also, the working part - the metal blade - is very thin, light stock. It came in the mail bent. I would imagine this cost the manufacturer about $.25 to make. Do yourself a favor and move onto something substantially larger and more robust.

It seems like a good, well-made product, but this didn't work for me. I tried it on corners when I was painting one wall but not the other, and to prevent paint from getting on the ceiling. I was hoping for clean lines but I ended up with bleeding behind the edge. After a few tries (and getting paint on the area I didn't want to paint because I forgot to completely wipe the blade off after every section), I gave up and just painted the edges by hand. Maybe this is user error but I read the reviews carefully and tried to learn the proper technique to use this, and I failed.Again, I gave it three stars because the product itself feels well made - I think it's just too difficult to use for a non-pro painter and causes more mess than if you just free-hand it.
