These are excellent quality sanding belts and work well on my Porter Cable belt sander. They work well and last a long time before wearing out.

All of them broke nearly immediately. As you can see from my picture they hardly got any use. My sander is set up properly and does not do this with other belts. Maybe I got a bad batch with defective glue at the seam. Until I know better I will stay away from this brand. I am awaiting a response from the company.

After purchasing some cheap belts and having all of them fail on the job, I decided to purchase these higher quality belts. I have used one for the duration of the job and it still is sharp enough to continue.

I was having trouble with store bought belts becoming unglued at the seam. The definition of insanity is buying the same product and expecting a different result. so I got on Amazon researched the reviews and decided to go for it. The base of my tablesaw had started to rust I needed to feather the paint, then continue to dig into the rust until I got to clean bare metal. the Mirka belt did not clog up and more importantly did not come apart at the seam. Amazon reviews to the rescue again! I like this product. I live in Hawaii and try to take advantage of super-saver shipping so I also took a chance and bought the 100, 120, and 180 grit belts. I have not used the other grits yet, but I am already convinced that Mirka is the belt for my Porter Cable!

Well, it's a sandpaper belt and it fits the Porter Cable belt sander I purchased so I'm happy with it. So far it stands up well to how I'm using it to remove difficult surfaces from wood.

I got these for my little Porter-cable sander and they work great. They are a little snug to put on but that's a good thing because there is no movement once they're on. I've been using another brand which had a tendency to split at the seam. No problem with these. One reminder is be sure you have the arrow facing the right way for perfect results.

I bought the 14 inch belt sander to be able to sand close to a wall and also to sand the end of an outside door that was sticking. It worked perfectly and I especially liked how light it was compared to my regular belt sander. It can easily be used with one hand and does just as thorough a job although, of course, it takes a little longer on large pieces. Highly recommended.

I use these with my Porter Cable 317K. The belts are sturdy, do an excellent job and I definitely recommend them. I note that the belt's backing seems sturdier than most. I have read that some people experienced tracking problems with other brand belts on the 317K. I have had no tracking problems at all; just a few tweaks when first using a new belt.
