I build custom knives and sheathes. When I build an exceptionally large knife and want a larger space between stitch holes, I reach for this 5 mm punch set. It took me forever to figure this out. I guess I have a slow processing brain. Anyway, I highly recommend this product. I doubt I’ll ever need another set, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger.

Wonderful for 15 dollars pricks through leather like butter pricking irons removed from the leather quite easily

These are really nice, sharp and have a smooth finish as well. I would buy them again.

I'm just a hobbyist. No real experience with other forks. However, I think these work pretty dang well. Never had issues punching them through some pretty thick leather. Never had tines bend. Come out reasonably easily. I've mostly worked with some pretty thick/stiff leather (mostly for gun holsters.) I've not been disappointed. On the rare occasion where I've gone through thinner leather, I've just initially pushed it through by hand to establish the pattern - nice and sharp after a fair bit of use still.

These chisels arrived very, very sharp and have performed much better than the first cheap chisel I bought to tinker with leather working. The array of sizes makes it possible to approach just about any sized project where you might need to set up stitching. Paired with a good mallet, these would work for just about anybody without hurting the bank too much.

These leatherworking tools are an excellent value, and look like they are built to resist corrosion with the black coating
