Love this shovel!! It is exactly what I was looking for to complete my car bug out bag. I hesitated too long and missed out on the stock of XL shovels but I'm glad I got in on this one. Good quality, accurate compass, sleek design and sturdy travel pouch set this one apart from others I've looked at. Mission made makes a great product at a great price. Comes in durable nylon bag which easily attaches to belt or backpack. For the gardener or survivalist minded. A bit smaller than military issue, but you’ll be happy you have it in your car or on your person.

It is not a shovel you would want to use to dig a foxhole. It is small, smaller than I expected.Now with that said, it is very well built, the pan on the shovel is small, I use it to work in the garden (not digging holes). The material is strong, and it does all that the description shows for the product. It's just not what I expected for use in a bug out bag. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions, by getting out a measure tape to outline to see how big it was. It folds up and fits nicely in the bag provided. jw
