Rings come in 1-inch, 30mm and 34mm diameters to accommodate scope tube sizes, and in different heights from low to high to accommodate objective bells, bolt lift and comb height. Choose the lowest height that provides clearance for your scope and bolt, while simultaneously positioning your aiming eye in line with the ocular lens. Make sure that Rail Type when buying these rings. The most common rail types are Picatinny and Weaver. However, there are many other kinds of rails so check out which one you have and choose a scope ring that fits.
Quick Detach mounts allow you to swith scopes quickly with minimal loss of zero.

I bought these to be able to attach a light onto my AR-10. I figured if they were decent enough for this application I would buy another set to mount a scope for quick release. I have a night vision scope on this gun 90% of the time. Being able to switch easily from NV scope to regular scope would allow me to legally hunt with this rifle during daylight hours (as it is illegal in my state to hunt with day/night scopes during big game seasons). Now for the review.....You absolutely are gonna get what you paid for. They barely tightened up on the flashlight body (I had this light mounted to the gun with a regular set of non-qd rings and had no issues). Install onto the rail is quite a pain and never really tightens well enough unless you tighten the allen screw adjustment so tight it no longer becomes QD in the field. I did find that if I lightly filed the part on the locking lever where it comes into contact with the ring base in which it tightens that I could get the ring tight enough to hold the light, but not so tight I had to have a tool to remove. I also put a drop of Rem Oil where the contact is made and repeatedly worked locking and unlocking the ring. This also seemed to help.I definitely would NOT use this product on a scope application as I fear they might not tighten up properly on the scope and getting not only one, but (2) of these rings to tighten up evenly on the rail would be near impossible. Not to mention I fear that the return to zero feature of the rings would be unreliable at best.* Overall summary: I believe these rings will be fine as an accessory ring, but I would NOT recommend using them for a scope application.

If you need a high set of rings these are them. Quality is decent, price is great, but these should be listed as high. These are the same height as UTG high rings. They work great for my new ATN X-Sight 4k Pro on an AR. The objectve lens on the ATN is 70mm. These provide just enough room to clear my 45º offset BUIS in the rear. Not sure if it would clear the standard polymer Magpul MBUIS with this particular scope. I have a set of UTG LE High (same height) on another AR with a standard 3-9 scope and they do clear the Magpul.

Mounted these rings on my sons competition rifle and so far so good. They have noy come loose so far' but he has only shot 2- matches with them on his rifle. Will let you know how they hold up.

There seems to be a lot of confusion & contradiction regarding just exactly what high, medium, & low profile is supposed to mean. These say they are medium profile, but are actually high, or at least are high compared to the medium profile 1" rings that I have.But if you are looking to mount a scope on an ar-type rifle, you will without doubt need a high profile anyway.
