I thought this craft paper would work well for my journaling and I wasn’t wrong. The paper is nice. It’s durable but slightly transparent. It takes ink well it’s easy to glue onto the pages of my journal and it’s just perfect in situations where you don’t want regular weight paper it’s natural color is really attractive and I’m really glad I decided to order. The paper is surprisingly thick. So many sheets, such a great value!

-One smooth side, one slightly textured-Generous size, good to covering small boxes or book/journal covers.-Also gift wrap for small items-Could be cut down for scrapbooking-Plenty of sheets in the roll.I plan on using some to cover some nice (as in size, shape, sturdy) boxes from other products that I wanted to save. This is better than just plain paper, but not so noisy as to distract or clash. This paper would be good for various school projects. I remember using tea and coffee to stain some paper for my US History class in middle school to make it look old. I also got some paper with a similar (albeit printed) texture for a project in English of a poem I did in old fashion pen and bottle ink.Reading other reviews has given me some great ideas of mediums to try with this paper. Given that there are so many in the roll, I feel like it will be easier to use them for experimenting with new things.Price seems fair for the quality, size, and quantity you receive.Would recommend

I’m loving it for gelli mono printing. There are two textures on these sheets. One side is pretty toothy and the other more smooth. Using the smoother side I’ve been able to pull ink, acrylic and pastel medium off very cleanly without ripping the paper or leaving paper residue. This is exciting to work with and push the limits of gel printing medium options as it creates a very clean pull so far.

I ordered this pack of MLNSUNNY 50 Sheets of Natural Artist Teabag Paper for Mixed Media Art - Wet Strength Tissue Paper,Large Size 15.75" x 15.75" to use for cyanotypes.I discovered teabag paper as a medium for cyanotypes about a year ago and I've been testing a lot of different teabag papers. Some papers work great. Others do not accept the emulsion well or are too fragile to stand up to the development and washing process. This paper works very well. I cut a sheet down to make some 5x7 cyanotypes. The emulsion went on smoothly using a foam brush. The paper is thin, and some emulsion will definitely soak through the paper, so be sure to do your coating on a surface that you don't mind staining with cyanotype emulsion. I coat mine on a sheet of mat board. It is easiest to coat if you tape down all four corners of the paper. I had no problem removing artist's tape without damaging the paper. While it does take some care to develop prints made on this paper, that's only because it will fold over onto itself when wet. If you are careful getting it into your processing tray, though, it will stay flat even with fairly vigorous agitation. You can remove it from the developing tray by grabbing it at two corners when moving it to your washing tray. A stream of water splashing directly on the paper will not damage it. You can dry your finished print on a screen, but I find that hanging it helps to prevent any creases from forming. If you are looking for a pure white paper, please note that this paper has a distinct yellowish tone. I actually think it works better with prussian blue than pure white paper does. If you are planning to tone your prints to a brown tone, though, you may find that the color of this paper provides less apparent contrast.

I am very pleased with this teabag paper. It came to me well-protected in a nice roll. The paper is smooth and light. It has some body, being heavier than tissue paper (by quite a bit, I’d say) but not as heavy as inexpensive copy paper. It is slightly translucent, with a beautiful color and texture. I got it to make gelli prints, and I think it will work wonderfully for that purpose, but I could also see it used as (a very special?) wrapping paper, or for origami.

I love this tea paper. This is the second tea paper I’ve tried so unlike the last tea paper I reviewed this time I actually had something to compare it to. The quality of this tea paper is just as good as the quality of the other tea paper I have so I have no complaints there. It is strong paper that doesn’t tear easily even when you get it wet which is really nice. I do a lot of mixed media projects, and really like incorporating this tea paper into my collages and using it to make marks on. I’ve used water soluble crayons and water soluble pencils on this paper and it works really great as the paper is strong and takes water very well. I have also used it with paint pens and it doesn’t bleed through but that’s fine with me as I just put Kraft paper underneath my work space and keep creating. What I like about this tea paper compared to the first one I ordered is that it’s not bleached, it’s a much more organic color, which I think just goes better with the entire aesthetic of the paper. I’m going to add a picture of the tea paper next to a piece of kraft paper and a white napkin so you can get a good idea of the color .This tea paper comes in large sheets, as opposed to the other tea paper I ordered that came in a large roll. I’m not sure that I prefer one over the other in that regard, but perhaps you will so I just wanted to make you aware. I’m sure there is lots of uses for this paper, but being a mixed media artist I just love incorporating it into the art journals I create and the collages I make. This paper really adds a very organic look to the overall piece, and beautiful texture as well. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this paper; it is a welcome addition to my paper collection, and I would recommend it to any artist, especially those that love working in mixed media.
