My honest assessment is you'd be better off getting a handheld portable clothing steamer. This is my second try at a mini iron, and they simply don't get hot enough to be effective. I tried ironing a modal shirt, a poly blend shirt, a linen shirt and a cotton blouse with no luck. It gets warm/hot but not enough to knock out any wrinkles.

This thing is amazing best investment in a while. Great for international travel or anywhere really. Puts off a lot of steam and takes out every wrinkle like it was never there!!

THis little gem has worked so well for me when traveling. It is compact enough to fit into my suit case. Many places I stay to include overseas do not have irons in their rooms. Some places here in the states the same. This has served me so well and I HIGHLY recommend this little gem. I've even taken this when I visit family so I don't have to put them out to borrow an iron, drag an ironing board our etc. I lay my tops on a bed and do a quick steam and I am good to go! LOVE THIS Little Steam Iron!! Yes, I am picky (not snooty) so it is an easy fit for travels!
