This is a well built, sturdy stand that gives great mobility to my new 5 hp Unisaw. After considerable thought I came up with a efficient procedure to move the saw from a pallet into the stand without human or mechanical assistance. ( hint: paste wax)

Huge amount of flex in the center. Saw was out of level by more than a ¼”. I milled and added UHMW spacers to sit between the cross brace on the side of the saw away from the wheels and the floor. Worked fine but I expected more from a Delta product. My solution probably will only work exactly where the saw sits now in my shop. A set of jacking bolts and pads added to the center would greatly improve this product.

My shop is not huge and the mobile base makes things easy to make room when I do not need the saw

Well made easy to assemble, haven't had a chance to put saw on it yet, but it looks like it will work just fine.

I have a Delta Unisaw with a Biesemeyer Fence and ordered the one that should have fit but it is too big and saw will not set in it.

Just assembled the saw onto the stand yesterday. Even with the ~ 600# load, the base operates smoothly and easily moves the saw to the side of my shop when I need the center aisle clear for other work.

The picture is wrong that is shown with the product. I have the Delta Unisaw 36 L352 which this base was specifically designed for. The pedal with the wheel on it is at the opposite end where the extension table legs sit. This presents a couple of problems, the weight of the saw causes the frame to deflect significantly (1/4") and it bounces up and down when the wheel is disengaged (non mobile position). I don't think that the wheel needs to be moved to where shown in the pic but there defiantly needs to be a pair of legs with rubber stops that can be set to take the load off the frame and keep the whole table saw from shaking. I have a piece of wood wedged between the frame and floor right now to stop the bouncing. Not sure what the permanent fix is yet but I would not recommend this base. It does move the saw well but once in the non mobile position the table saw is not steady and shakes up and down.

The correct mobile base finally arrived so I could set up my unisaw saw! The base seems very sturdy and well built. The base has two stationery wheels at the saw end and two rubber feet at he extension table side. The rubber feet should have extra nuts so you can adjust their height. The side extension table has adjustable feet, but to get the saw level or straight for the fence system. I ended up taking this side of the base and saw apart to adjust the base higher and the table lower to get everything fit and work properly. kinda a pain glade my weight lifter son was helping me!! My floor is fairly level but I had some difficultly get the base and saw level. The base had two positions for the fixed wheels maybe I should've put the wheels in the lowest not the highest holes. The base instructions were printed very small on a single sheet of paper. Maybe I should have called Delta for help. I called when I got the incorrect base and the gentleman was very helpful. Not like he was paid to help me, but as if he really wanted help me!! Because of my adjustments (or maladjustment's) I need a piece of 3/4" plywood under foot jack to get the height to make the base move. If the plywood slips out the base crashes to a very loud stop. Don't get me started on the front to back to level. My saw blade draw opens automatically even if I don't want it too!! If you absolutely HAVE TO HAVE a base it's solid but adjusting it and moving it is awkward. Bare in mind the Delta 36-L352 is a BIG saw!! You can rip cut wider than almost any other saw on the market! Not sure if I'll keep the mobile base! Hope this helps!Happy Day!RandallP.S. I tried to upload a correct picture of the base. Amazon wouldn't take it! I'll try a video from iPhone but I have to take a video first! I had a sweet picture but NO!!
