Pros+ the USBC is on this sort-of hinge/slider so that you can still use your phone without taking the case off. This is REALLY important as many slim cases now use adhesives to stay on. You're not supposed to take them on and off all the time. If you have a thick case, it might not fit though.+ the back plate is spring loaded and it splits along the slider, so that it'll fit practically any phone or small/mid sized tablet.+ fits pixel fold (one of the side-folding phones) with the case on. Because of the USB-C being on the right side, the screen folds down, cannot go up as you'd need the USBC on the left side. The balance isn't 100% perfect, but it's still pretty good. I'd say maybe 90%+ on point though. I'm not docking it a star for this because some of these don't even fit folding phones, as it's not really pitched as "for folding phones" so that wouldn't really be fair.+ pass-through charging is clutch. I would not consider one without it. The GPUs on a lot of games are used enough nowadays that if you can't charge the device while playing, your battery is gone in a few hours. And as it's your phone (instead of a separate device), you're hamstrung for the time it takes to charge your phone back up.Cons- build quality is not as tight as I'd expect. A lot of aftermarket controller devices are not as tight as OEM, so the plastic creaks as you handle with them. This one has the venting in it, so it's even more noticeable.- the "retro games" app I test with is a pretty big one, and although the app recognizes other unbranded control buttons, the app did not recognize many of these buttons. In the retro app, when trying to map it to the console, it doesn't even recognize L2/R2 or higher. So it'll work with some retro games, but you're running out of buttons if you are playing certain games, or you're like me and normally use R2 for save state, and L2 for load state (or R3/L3) and you just can't. I tried a different retro app and got the same, so it's not likely the app.

I’ve been using this constantly, and it’s an excellent controller. So many good features, the programmable buttons, the back buttons, clickable sticks. Honestly the best mobile controller for Fortnite I’ve ever used. The sticks themselves are very smooth. Buttons feel good. I like the pass thru charging. All around excellent.

Mobile Gaming Controller for iPhone 16/15 Series & Android (USB-C) Plug & Play - Remote Play for PS/Xbox/PC Remote Play, Cloud Game, Small size tablet, with Hall Effect Joysticks/Turbo/Mapping KeysFirst off, I must warn you, I have a LOT of controllers both mobile and regular ones. Nearly 500 to be exact and bought this one to compare to the others. The price is VERY steep for this on Amazon and only during high tariffs would I recommend buying this item from this specific listing. The same controller can be found for half of this on Amazon and wholesale for nearly a quarter of it. So this is NOT a great value for the money so it lost two stars because of that.As soon as I pulled this out I was like, hey I already have this controller as it is the AOBING MAX from GAMWING. That being said for the controller it is a really good value controller. I found that all face buttons were within 0.7N of pressure force which was really great. The mobile USB-C connection is really good and helps fit many cases. The triggers and sticks work very well as they are HE which is great. It supposedly supports Bluetooth when the phone powers the controller or when it is plugged into a cable but I could never get that to work. It does not work with emulation without HEAVY knowledge of how to get them to work and getting it to switch to X-input and avoid (for whatever reason) it defaulting to PS4 controller emulation. It works, it's a good controller but I would look elsewhere for a better supported controller.

Controller works perfectly once set to the right setting. Very good size controller instead of the smaller backbone ones. Buttons feel good and responsive. Controller is very lightweight and adaptable to the phone size. My iPhone 16 pro max would have fit with the case on, but the charging port was too deep so it didn’t seat properly. Taking off my case is no trouble and once it’s plugged in, it’s ready to go. Buttons aren’t clicky, but not too mushy either. Dpad is very clicky. Joysticks feel great as well. Shoulder buttons are clicky. Additional buttons allow versatility and even can use the front setting buttons to open the Xbox home, which is useful for using Remote Play. One thing I would have preferred was if the joysticks were offset from the buttons, as this can lead to a minor feeling of being too tight. Two things to note:First, the lights are always on on the handles, but they’re usually covered by your hands when playing. Could be noticeable in a dark room, but not obnoxiously bright.Second, I have had issues where the controller became unresponsive while playing a game if I swiped to a different app, then returned to it. I found the quick fix on iPhone at least was just to swipe down the control panel, then swipe it back up and the controller would work in game again.
