It's a tusq product, What can you say about it? They're good. They're worth every dollar. Not as good as a bone one, but they're good nonetheless

This fit my Guild D25-12 from 1987 absolutely perfectly with minimal trimming. This nut is better than the original.

Works great. I had to buy it twice. The first time I filed it down too much. (MY FAULT). It is very close to being the right height when it comes in the package. My suggestion is to buy an inexpensive caliper if you don't have one and measure your existing nut. then make that size. Also be sure to "adjust the truss rod before removing the strings". Install the new one with no glue, recheck. Let it sit a few days, re-check the neck. Play for several days. When you are sure, loosen the strings and glue in the nut.

Replaced the plastic nut on my epiphone D212 acoustic to this product. No alterations were needed to the tusq nut dimensions and it fit right in the former slot. I have to say, I thought this was a mellow instrument and had good amount of attack, but the tusq made every note jump and seem alive. I use silk & steel strings and it still seem crisper, brighter, and improved resonance. I can only imagine how a regular set of phosphor bronze strings would sound like! !!!Very recommended .

Nice, only suggestion is this: No one will use this as is because it is too tall and probably the reason anyone buys it in the first place. You could bring it down a 1/16 of an inch or more and we would still need to sand it down. Just saying, it'd be so much easier for us to fit.

It looks perfect, I have not installed it yet. This is not a fun job and can get ugly. Right part makes it better.

I needed to lower the nut height on a doubleneck I bought, so just stabbed in the dark and ordered this one. I was lucky in that it was perfect for the guitar in question as it came. But don't be fooled by my good fortune. Always measure the width of the nut, the height of the nut, and the string spacing before ordering nuts. You'll probably need a set of nut-files too, but be very careful, you can soon spoil your guitar.
