I changed an epiphone es335 nut for this. I had to sand very slightly the edges to make them perfectly fit, I also sanded the bottom part to adjust the nut height, and to fit the nut to it's slot(this one is important for sustain, test it by placing the nut on the neck, there should be no rocking and no space)It's a new nut, so yeah a better tone because the strings slots are still new

I ordered two of these replacement nuts. Both fit almost perfectly. One was for a 12 string, one for a 6 string. They came quick as a flash too. Ordering these nuts enabled me to convert a couple of right handed guitars into left handed guitars.
