I had a leak through the rear of the Moen tub diverter spout and I was able to easily fix it using this replacement part. The installation was very easy - removed the spout, used a sand paper to clean the copper pipe, applied the plumber's grease so as not to damage the rubber seal and then pushed the new spout in. There was no water leak after the installation.

I had been living with more water coming out the tub spout than the shower for a while. I replace the spout which directed all the water to the shower head instead of the spout and all is good. I must be saving a lot of money in wasted water.This spout was easy to install and looks great. Good upgrade.

We ended up buying this because it matched our bath fixtures, and we needed a replacement FAST - our old one was broken and we couldn't shower without it. I will say it looks great, it was easy to install, and it works great. However we did pay more in order to have it in two days from amazon, rather than order it from home depot/lowes.

This will be going back right away, with just an unwrap. Everything else in the Kingsley line came in with decent finishes; as others have seen too, this one arrived with a mottled finish. Pretty tacky since it costs so much in a high-priced line. We'll see if the vendor can provide a replacement that's not ridiculous off the bat.Edit 1: When I went to submit my return request, Amazon's site indicated calling Moen was the best option. Confusingly, it referred me to Moen Canada's site and phone, something of a run-around. I was able to get the Moen US number, leave a callback request, and talk to Amanda, who is sending a new spout without requiring a return, quick and easy and very friendly. We'll see how the new spout looks in about 7-10 days in this COVID-19 timeframe. Customer service caused me to upgrade to four stars. I'm hoping it stays there.

Just as expected. Was easy to install as well. Exact same as you would find in Home Depot, homehardware etc but $15 cheaper.

Arrived with no instructions but was easy to install. Before this one I had a cheaper Moen faucet that caused the water to splash everywhere this one doesn’t. It works great!

This replaced an old faucet that we had that would not stay fully up & leaked like crazy. This was easy to install. One caution ... and this is not a product flaw, but check the size of the cutout in the tub/shower ... this one was not quite big enough to cover the old one so had to MacGyver a solution to cover the opening fully, but it worked.

My husband and I are giving our bathroom a mini remodel, so we are purchasing new fixtures for the bathtub/shower combo. I found this spout, and I liked the looks of it, and Moen is a dependable brand name. A Moen rep in some of the Amazon Customer Questions said this spout worked on copper pipe that was a maximum of 3.75" from the wall to the tip of the pipe. I measured, and my pipe is 3.5 inches. Everything should fit right? Well, this spout would not go more than 1 inch onto the pipe. Another person in a different review had the same problem. I can guarantee you that I have 1/2 inch copper pipe. But, no, this spout would not slip past 1 inch even with a generous supply of plumber's grease. Perhaps there is something broken inside the spout itself that is preventing it from slipping onto the pipe? It was packaged in only a bubble mailer which was really torn up when we received it. My husband completely removed the set screw, which did not help matters. Then we tightened the set screw only slightly to make sure were were locking everything into place, and that did not work either. Sadly, this had to be returned and it was very pretty with the decorative escutcheon. I purchased a Delta in its place, and the Delta worked like a charm.

This spout replaced my other spout when the shower diverter quit working. Following the directions would have made this replacement easy, which is why I didn't bother reading them. Sometimes you just want a challenge, but even without reading the directions the installation went pretty quick, but I'll give you a hint: pneumatic tools aren't helpful even if you strain yourself thinking of reasons to use them like I do. I mean you buy all these manly tools and then BAM! things quit breaking and there's no good reason to use the tools. Very frustrating. But, in any event, water is being properly diverted to the shower head now, the finish on the this replacement part is very nice and I can't think of any reason you shouldn't buy one.

Bought this to replace a slip fit tub spout that had seen better days. It installs easily with two parts. One part is the circular piece that is flush against the tile. The other part is the actual tub spout. It is tightened with an allen key and it an easy 5 min installation. I had about 1.5" of copper showing from the tile and it worked without any issues. The product feels high quality and looks good. Moen is good stuff!
