The key to using this is to lift the diverter before you turn on the water! Otherwise it leaks. Then, allow it to drop on its own after you shut the shower off. Works like a charm! Beautiful chrome. I try it off after my shower and it looks like new every day. Very happy.

I bought this and didn't realize that I needed the screw-on spout, but now I do so sharing that info. They look identical except one screws on and one has a set screw to attach it.

I had replaced a 15 yr. old leaky bathtub diverter spout by this one, which ALSO LEAKS in spite of being brand new. It was installed and pipe soldered by a plumber who said all interior parts are plastic and possibly the reason for leaking. The leaky Moen diverter was expensive as well as the plumber's fee. I'm putting up with the nuisance as the leak is a little less than the old one and it's been already installed.........However, won't be buying Moen again !

This tub diverter spout is easy to install and has a nice look, however it is leaking a little water when using it. I saw most other reviews don’t have this leaking water issue, not sure if this is just a defected one.
