This Cartridge Puller works great and being Solid Brass, chrome Plated means it will far outlast the Aluminum ones by a long shot. Made Removal of the cartridge very easy and pulls the cartridge out with the rubber seals intact, have had experiences with the rubber seals getting jammed inside backing down the supply lines trying to remove the Moen Cartridge by twisting it to break the Rubber seals loose. The tool is the perfect smart way to change a cartridge. And the price is less than 1/3 of what Moen will sell you there same puller for.

Worked exactly as described and was able to remove a stuck cartridge that had been in place for 9 years in just a few minutes. I could not get the cartridge out just using pliers so I am happy I ordered this as a backup. Followed along with a youtube video, and now the shower is good as new with no leaks. This is a pretty sturdy tool and will use for the next time I need to replace the cartridge.

But of a learning curve on the device. Once I figured it out, worked like a charm. Highly recommend for changing a moen bathroom faucet cartridge. Only used on a moen faucet so I cant say if it would work on any other brands of faucets. You get what you pay for and the price is definitely worth it.

This tool is made of brass and chrome plated, overall, a very well-made tool. The reason for the 4 stars is that if the cartridge has been in for a very long time, then you'll need to make an extension out of 1" pvc pipe to completely remove the stuck cartridge. It will need to be about 1-1/4 - 1-1/2 inch long. Don't get me wrong, having this tool is a must!

I used this on my 2nd stuck shower valve. First one took a while. Much easier with this heavy duty puller. If it's really stuck spray some penetrant in the valve and heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer.

My shower handle was getting very hard to turn so after looking into it I needed to replace the cartridge. I followed the direction, which was pretty simple, but the cartridge after 8 Years was really stuck in there. I got this tool, and it worked perfectly. There is NO WAY I would have gotten this out without the tool. After replacing the cartridge the shower handle now turns super easily. Thanks.

This is a real tool that is very durable. With that said, my cartridge was still stubborn to remove. It took about 10 minutes of pulling, twisting and tugging to get out the cartridge. The cartridge would have been impossible to remove without a tool.

It could only pull the cartridge a little distance, which was not enough to get the whole cartrige out. I had to make an extension with grooves on it to get the enough room for the cartrige to be moved out.
