I should have spent more money and bought the Moen Valve Trim and Valve that has one additional lever for the temperature adjustment so that once you set the temperature, you are only turning shower on or off.

Bought this cheaper than the plumber would sell it to me for. Same installation price from the plumber whether I bought it from him or not. He only recommends Moen. He's been a plumber for over 30 years.

I bought this handle to match the spout. The handle has amazingly smooth movement and it is perfect in our bathroom remodel. I would recommend this Moen brushed nickel handle

I'm not one to waste my time writing negative reviews, but I spent almost $800 on Moen products for my Master Bathroom renovation, and this hardware is terrible. The color of the "brushed gold" is like, a, rusty orangey gold. Oh, it's so bad. Looks old/used. Apparently Moen is such a big brand that they think they can give you low grade stuff and get away with it because of the name. I can't tell you how unfortunate it is. They'll never get my money again.

The Voss line of products are very attractive. Some reviewers have complained that the valve handle is too far from the escutcheon. This is easily remedied with a little pre-planning. The valve needs to be mounted deep enough in the stud bay such that the valve stem does not stick too far out and cause the handle to stand off from the escutcheon. If installed properly, it looks and works fine.

We replaced a garden tub with a shower in the home we recently bought The Moen valve was still good, so this handle replaced the out-dated, chubby chrome one. It's paired with a satin nickel combo rain shower head/handheld. The square styling goes with our other bathroom hardware and rectangular sinks.
