Astounding sound reproduction! Using the Mogami patch cable with headphones vastly improves what you "hear" and as a senior that is most important. It provides an easy solution to reduced hearing as one ages.

I have used Mogami leads for many years. Prior to that like most of us I suffered occasions when noise or bad connection or scratchy sounds would occur and were hard to trace but always were found to be in e lead or its connector. I then purchased a Mogami lead and as they are not cheap I wondered if it was really worth the cost.Having taken that step all my issues previously suffered for years dissapeared. Here at last was a lead that does its job and does it every day perfectly. They have never let me down since hence I see them as ultimately reliable and will always purchase Mogami for any critical audio use.

This replaced a cable from my Sony TV headphone out to my headphone amp. I use this whenever I do not want to disturb other household members with my TV watching. I used to think there was something wrong with the TV because the sound through my headphones was barely tolerable. Mogami Gold to the rescue! Saved me calling a repairman to fix the TV - for less than the cost of a callout! All of my favorite shows (and football) on Prime, Max, Disney+, and even Youtube TV now sound better through my headphones than through my stereo. Maybe Santa will bring me Mogami Gold to re-wire my stereo?! Are you listening, Santa?

These cables produce the purest sound and are truly worth the money. The only cables I use. If sound quality is important to you these are the way to go.

Ok, so going from Audioquest Evergreen 3.5mm (which is a pretty nice cable but not on this level) is night to day! The sound from MOGAMi is how I would describe as super luxurious, well defined, and smooth as silk. No harsh confusing bright frequencies it seriously feels as if I upgraded to $2000 headphones. Trust me, after 1 minute of listening with this cable you'll wish you would have heard about MOGAMI sooner! Works in all studio setups, from laptop to super setup.

The Mogami gold cable is extremely smooth across the entire frequency range... winds sound lively with air around each voice, brass is bright and powerful, strings are seductively silky. Soundstage and dynamics also excellent.I sent back a AQ Evergreen that was harsh in the upper mids and treble. SKW was not bad but more mid bass oriented leading to slightly muddy textures.The Mogami gold is a fabulous cable.

I like this cable. Who knew just a simple upgrade would make the existing music I have heard dozens of times sound so much better.I'm talking like hearing mellow string slides, hand position changes, and the physical movement of cymbals. Where normally I couldnt hear those. Its like everything is new again and well worth the extra money.

ProsEXCELLENT freakin sound quality with this cord!! It brings out little sounds and nuances in tracks that I've never heard before, crystal clear highs and rock bottom lows and all the in-betweens, it's Extra Squanchy, like sex for your ears!!!Super thick durable cord & sexy gold contacts to match.ConsThe thick heavy cord makes it not very probable for "out & about" use.Using a Fiio E17k Alpine 2 DAC/Amp and the contact doesn't really go all the way into the unit so it pops out if the cord turns. I haven't had this issue with any of my other DACs, amps or PC. Just the one FIIO unit.
