This rug pad is such a disappointment because it's so hard. It offers no feeling of a cushioned pad, which is what I need. Additionally, I fear that the super abrasive felt pad would destroy my handwoven rug. However, it is durable and strong if that fits your need!

I got this pad to go under a 10' runner in my hallway. I have 2 crazy dogs who were always running & moving the rug. Then my senior beagle pee'd on it. (Unfortunately more than once) I got this one to go under the new replacement runner because it said it was waterproof. (The rug is washable) I am THRILLED with this pad! It is by far the best one I have ever used! It really holds the runner in place. It works even better than the carpet tape I've used in the past! Best part is it has a waterproof liner that is soft & noiseless. It is the perfect thickness. Highly recommend. Worth every penny! Definitely saving my hardwood floors.

I don’t understand why there are so many positive reviews. My senior dog had an accident on a rug we placed on top of this rug pad to protect our wood floor, but it went straight through. My search continues for a truly waterproof pad.

Works great - completely protects my 100 years old hardwoods from the dogs cats and spills. Slips out of place occasionally, no big deal.
