I purchased this because I had a kindle and hated it but loved the case with the strap I had. I only use my HD Fire to read so I wanted another case with the same feature. It’s lightweight and not bulky. It doesn’t seem to scratch easily. I added some stickers to decorate.

I really love this case, durable and strong... I've had it for a couple of years now and it's un-chipped, un-scratched and I take it everywhere. Five days for work and on Sundays...get it

Love the case. Love the design of the case. Protects the tablet really well. Fix my tablet great. I like how you can prop up with the case and it's another features. I like the grip holder on the case. Great price for a case as well.

This is a great case! I tried a similar case by Fintie but this one by Moko is far better quality and has a superior design. Moko’s case feels and looks like leather and the texture makes it non-slip (the Fintie was slippery thin plastic with a less robust liner and backing). Moko comes in lots more colors (mine is “light” purple but it is more medium in tone with light purple stitching). The liner is a substantial flocked type material with sturdy backing that is stitched to the cover. To use for one-handed reading, this case has a great hand strap made of the soft lining and elastic, making it non-slip and comfortable to hold. If you want to use it for watching movies, the cover folds and can be secured into a slot on the back cover. The cover is more sturdy than Fintie’s too, so it will not flop around. Moko also has a better quality pen loop (better elastic) to hold a capacitive stylus or pencil/pen. The case is slightly heavier than Fintie’s but far more protective. Moko even has a handy elastic strap to keep the cover closed for travel if you wish. Finally, the wake/sleep magnet closure works reliably.I highly recommend this case! I expect it to last for years.

i really like the look and feel of it. I can't speak to the durability of it as it is just new but going by previous covers it should be fine. I really does look good.

First, this is a nice looking case that seems like it would provide some level of protection, although there's no real corner protection if you drop it. It also fits my new Fire HD8 2022 model just fine. Also the "handle" is really nice for holding it. However, I should note that the handle is a bit tight, even for my small hands, so it's not easy to quickly put your hand in or take it out to set the tablet down. But that might loosen up over time, and may be intentional to make sure it doesn't slip out of your hand accidentally. That's a matter of personal preference. I wanted to use this to take notes in a situation where I'd need to set it down for a while on a fairly regular basis, so the handle could get a little annoying if it doesn't loosen up a bit.Unfortunately, the way it's designed makes it not terribly useful for a lot of applications. The main problem is how the Fire is oriented once installed in the case. (And there's only one way it can be installed if you don't want the buttons, etc. covered, so it's not a matter of me having installed it incorrectly.)- There is no way to use the rear-facing camera when the cover is used as a stand. The "stand" part of it covers the camera. The only way to use the camera with the cover on, in fact, is to hold the cover in a partially open position, which pretty much requires 2 hands. That makes it difficult to press the button to take a picture, to say the least.- Also when using the cover as a stand, it's not too useful for things like Zoom meetings because it puts the self camera at the bottom of the screen. So unless you want people to mainly be viewing your neck under your chin, you'd have to sit it on top of something to raise the level of the selfie-camera.- When you use the case as a stand, the speakers are oriented pointing down along the bottom. So they are somewhat blocked. And if you are setting it on a softer surface that absorbs sound (rather than something hard and reflective) it's going to be even worse.- When you install the Fire in the cover, and fold back the cover to hold it in your hand, if you hold it in your left hand it's very hard to not cover the selfie-camera- A lesser, but still annoying, issue is that when you fold back the cover, it doesn't really want to fold flat behind the Fire. So unless you "mash it down" with your hand, that doesn't always feel great when you hold it. Also if you were to lay it flat on a table, it has the same problem. Maybe that would loosen up and be flatter over time, however.- If you use the cover as a stand, and are going to tap on the screen or use a stylus in that mode, it does wobble back and forth quite a bit. That's just a general minor flaw that tends to happen with these types of covers, though. It might bother some people and other people might not notice at all.- Note that this only holds the tablet in landscape mode, not portrait, when used as a stand. So it's a little odd trying to read on it that way. That's just a general question of personal preference, though. So, this would be OK if:- You don't really need to use either camera, or at least not very often- You don't mind reduced sound volume or quality when using the case as a stand- For example, if you're mainly going to watch videos, or are going to hold it in your hand and read on it, then the above stuff probably isn't going to be a problem.Otherwise, it's hard to really recommend this.
