WARNING: Do not buy these brackets unless you buy your own screws. While the brackets themselves are great, the screws are crap. You will need sheet metal screws (not wood) size #6 x 3/4" and #6 x 1-1/2” as exact replacements for what comes in the package.STORY: I am a handywoman and have used these brackets before when they came in a box with some furniture I assembled for a client. They worked great, so I recommended them to another client for some furniture he and his wife had. Little did I know that recommendation would come back to haunt me.I came out to install them and had nothing but problems with the crappy screws they provided. One after another snapped off while trying to drive them into the furniture and the wall studs. The metal was brittle so they simple sheared even with pre-drilling the holes. See the attached pictures showing the broken heads.I called the company and explained to them what happened. In addition, I asked to get some kind of a credit to my client for their trouble because they had to pay me for my time regardless. Not only that I had to make a second trip out after purchasing some decent screws from Home Depot. I got zero cooperation for the effort except that they would replace them so my clients are out the money from two visits not to mention sheared screws in their furniture. Now I have to spend time mailing back the screws for testing and there is nothing in it for me or my client other than hopefully it will eventually prevent someone else from getting “screwed” by this product. So much for good will towards clients when you produce a defective product.Fine, this warning will be my pound of flesh.

I bought this product to anchor other dressers after my kid's new dresser from a local baby store came with anchors from this brand (they were supplied in a plastic bag instead and looked the same). This product was easy to install but the wall screws and furniture screws broke off while I was hand-tightening them, leaving a part of the screw sticking out of the wall and furniture (screws didn't break off when I installed the same product from the furniture store. Maybe they had different screws??). Once they broke off, I had to use a hammer to push them in so they don't cause any laceration hazard. I used 3/4 inch screw and 1 3/4 inch screws I had bought from a hardware store and they worked well for me. The anchor stayed in place when my wife pulled the dresser with all her weight. I bought 5 but only ended up using one box. It's a bit unsightly but I feel better knowing it will make it harder to tip if my son ever tries. Each box comes with 8 sets. I used 2-3 sets for each dresser.
