They are ready to install, fit was perfect on my Honda Pilot. The ride is as good as the stock struts were when new. I noticed the front end doesn't sag or dive when you brake now. Perhaps it's even better then original, happy customer.

Only lasted 13 months, ordered both left and right, since this purchase is from Amazon you can’t go directly to Monroe for warrantee, the manufacture told me I have to work with the place I purchased the strut. According to Monroe this warrantee process is done directly with Amazon and the process is not easy, amazon refused to help since the failure is over 3 months after purchase. Initially Amazon refused to help they kept telling me many times I need to go to the manufacture of the strut. I had to talk with an Amazon manager to get this process started. The warrantee takes about 1 week of time to process and approve from Amazon. PS: The stickers on the strut do not say Monroe they only easy strut. I will be receiving a warrantee replacement in a few days. It cost a few hundred to install, I saved money on the cost of the strut buying from amazon in the end I paid double the cost due to paying for installing 2 times, spending a few hours trying to get warrantee replacements from Amazon plus having to be without the Pilot for a few days for the install.

Shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. Install went smoothly, except for one bolt which felt like it was torqued from Honda at 1000 ft. lbs.

This is a brand new in box quick strut. It also came with new nuts for the top mounting studs. I tried to install this myself, but the sway link connections were rusted and I couldn't get them off without stripping out the inner hex key. Took it to a shop and had them install these, they just cut off the sway links and put new ones on. Apparently this is very common in 2012 Honda Pilots, but just be prepared to deal with this. These strut assemblies ride like the OEM parts, time will tell if they last as long.

Both quick struts had bad top bearings. Monroe knew about it . PIA for those who are backyard mechanics
