This is perfect for loading and leading, it doesn’t give me rope burn and is the perfect length, enough that I can get out of the way without legging go but not to much that it gets tangled up like a lunge line. This is also long enough to lunge with, but be aware this is NOT a lunge line it is meant for leading a loading. Especially helpful for my 17hh tank of a horse that doesn’t want to load sometimes.

I have a rescue 16.2 OTTB who can panic and rear. This lead is long enough that I can step out of his danger zone so as to ask him to walk smallish circles around me until he regains his composure. I was walking him with a lunge line, but was constantly struggling to keep the length of it contained, especially while dealing with an anxious horse and lunge whip. The thickness and soft cotton material of this lead is good also-I have small hands so couldn't hold lots of thicker line. This one is lightly padded, so it doesn't cut my hands if my boy pulls, but it is the perfect thickness for me to be able to keep a good grip. Highly recommend for folks who need something more than a standard lead line.

I think this rope is hard to loosen when my young horse pulls tight.Or maybe I’m just not used to this type of rope?

It was too short and didn’t have a loop to hold on to. Very dissspointed in this item

Strong light and first rate quality. Easier to handle and stow than marine grade rope You can stuff this in a pocket of a pommel bag or your jacket yet handle an excited 1200 lb horse with ease. Thin up to the last foot or so where it is doubled. High grade snap link. Love it!
