This is a direct fit for a 98 S10 4x4. The installation and fit were perfect. Comes with everything in the picture (4 bolts, castle nut, cotter pin, zerk fitting). Does not come with zerk fitting cap - I supplied my own.The PITA is to remove the original Front Upper Ball joints which were riveted in by GM (why GM?!?!) but nothing to do with the Moog ball joints.Once the ball joint is installed, 4 nuts tightened and castle nut snugged up, I put about 4 squeezes of grease into the included zerk fitting and then let weight onto the ball joint. Once the suspension has settled, then I torqued the castle nut and used the cotter pin. I always put a cap (with a collar) on all my zerk fittings.

I was searching my local Parts store I got quoted $250 for four or joints on my truck. I ended up looking on Amazon and of course I found moog ball joints at a really good price. when I showed my mechanic, he said, I can’t believe you paid such a cheap price for moog. It’s been a week since installation and everything is fine. The front of my truck is very solid again. Thank you to This seller for having great parts in a really good price on my budget. It helped very much.

It says on here that it doesn't fit my 2004 Chevy Blazer 4WD 4 door, BUT I looked up the number on the Moog website and it says it does. So I ordered them, and it does fit perfect. Upper ball joints fit perfect.

Good parts, Moog are imho the best value for performance. Ordered 2, one item was perfect. The other was not threaded correctly (somebody had a case of the Mondays and let it slip). I had to cut the threads myself as no local parts store had the one I needed and I could not do without my vehicle to wait on a replacement from Amazon.

Great ball joint, however the bolts are weak.

Although the factory 1997 Blazer ball joints managed to last 150,000 miles with unknown maintenance, these replacement MOOG joints should easily surpass 150K miles with regular greasing at every oil change. They are built very well, and the included hardware and grease fittings look to be heavy duty. The boots that come with these joints seem to be of thicker, heavier duty rubber, and have "MOOG" in raised letters on them. The only difficult part of the replacemnt is getting the old joints out. If riveted, they need to be ground down with an angle grinder. Upper joints come off much easier than the lowers. Once the rivets are ground down, use a long, heavy duty flat tipped punch and a heavy hammer to knock the rivets out. Those holes will line up with the new ball joints, and you can bolt them in. The upper ball joint large hole needs to be enlarged for the oversize construction of the MOOG joint. It takes just a few minutes with a die grinder. Work evenly around the hole and remove just enough material from the control arm to slip the new joint in. Don't forget to grease them before you're done!
