Fits 90s f250 4x4 trucks with a 4600lb Axle. Good quality like usual and still cheaper than the parts store.

This ball joint is for the Dana 50 ttb with 4.10 gear ratio. Amazon didn’t specify about the gear ratio. But all the pieces was there and was ready to install. I returned to Amazon with out any problems.

I've used MOOG as a professional mechanic over 30yrs, this lower balljoint went into my 95 F250 diesel 4x4 Dana 50 axle. (Note: if you're thinking of doing this job yourself as a novice, it requires a ball joint press with correct adaptors to install "easily", without damaging the new part, axle knuckle, or potentially your own knuckles! )While I approve of & tend to endorse "most" MOOG products, I've recently seen a variation for the upper balljoint that has 3/16" +/- up/down movement "built in" to the stud for installation purposes, or similar, as per card in the box.....I'm calling BS on that one! Their bushings, ball & socket parts have always been top notch with that exception for Dana 4x4 front axle UPPER bj. (Personally, I'd return them if I ever got another one & search for Spicer, or old stock MOOG before the "enhanced" design)

I changed all 4 of the ball joints in my truck in about 5 hours after a trip to a heavy duty shop to check the alignment and finding it as still prefect.I am vary happy in the quality from moog as I replaced a set that as 15 years old and can say the quality is 110%..

The picture on this Amazon listing is outdated. It shows the old-style ball joint with the separate dust boot that must be pressed on. As another reviewer mentioned, this ball joint has been redesigned with a pre-installed integral dust boot and so does not come with the pictured external dust boot. Just wanted to try and save someone else the confusion.

I have always used Moog parts for repairs and thought them to be the best (for the price). Could not beat the free shipping and price. Spent about $1,300 dollars for on Moog parts for the whole truck on what would have cost me almost $3,000 with tax at the local stores. Easy install because I had the dealer do it at a predetermined lower cost...All four for $525. Everyone else wanted $750+.
