This is the real deal, it doesn't stand out though quite as much as the dark foam that typically comes with air conditioners. Takes a bit of massaging and maybe a day to rest to expand to full size. I used a putty knife to push down in the gap and did some trimming for window sides and muntins on our old, drafty windows. We also got some heavy duty (non-residue leaving) clear window tape, so we're set.

I liked that it came in the color gray . A lot less noticeable it matches the air conditioner.Easy to use . Cuts to size . Blocks the cracks .

Awesome product. Don't be fooled by the package when it arrives. Just cut the plastic and watch it expand.

Don't be surprised by the packaging. To save space, the items are compressed in an airtight manner, so they appear very flat. Once you open the plastic and let in air, they return to their original size.However, each item was tied in a knot, which made it difficult to untangle.The quality is just okay—nothing extraordinary. I expected something denser to prevent air from leaking through the gaps around my air conditioning, but I had to add three layers to make it somewhat effective. It's not even good; it's just okay.I will not buy this product again.

Weatherstrip is thick and fairly dense. Good for my purpose. Adhesive dots are useless. No sticking power at all.
