This is a cute little pair of match holder that's perfect for aesthetic reasons. I wouldn't recommend putting match since match is something you need immediately and should be handy. But you have to seal it shut otherwise the content will come out. I would use it more for toothpicks at the dinning table. The glass jars are pretty.

Since I don't generally use a lighter, I like to keep some matches around for the odd occasion that I use them.This 'globe' is an interesting way to store the matches and prevent them form getting chewed on by my cats!I think it would probably be more useful for someone who uses matches a lot more regularly than I do. Since I can just as easily keep a box in a drawer.However, if you use them regualrly, it is nice to have them easily and quickly to hand.This little decorative holder makes a nice presentation for that purpose.

I absolutely love this match stick holder; it's both beautiful and functional, which is exactly what I was looking for. I burn candles frequently, and this time of year we always seem to have a fire going in our wood stove.This holder provides a stylish way to store my matches while enhancing my home decor. The lightweight design and quality construction, combined with the cork stopper, ensure my matches stay dry and protected. I have it displayed on my mantle in my living room and the 2nd in my master bedroom. It looks absolutely lovely. The spiral design on the inside of the glass adds a touch of elegance, and I appreciate how easy the outside is to clean. We actually have a striker built onto our stove but do keep in mind that there is no striker on this cloche. You can probably add a small one to the cork if you need one.

Love the look. Too big for standard wooden matches. Too small for 3.75” long matches that I found online. Tricky size.

I should’ve looked harder in the product photos, but not having a striker on this is slightly disappointing. I still had to keep the match box which isn’t the end of the world but not exactly what I was looking for. Looked cute though!!
