Not too impressed. Was difficult to get together, and I can't really get it to fire. Disappointed in this one.

Simple to use just pull back about 12 inches and let goComes all ready to use just add salt also comes with lots of extrasFun adult toy for me and my husbandI always hate getting on the ladder to reach spider etc. So im very happy I have !Its functional, Just give it a couple of tries before hand and I think it will work with a little practice and looking at the directions helped me understand betterWeight is pretty light and the quality of the rubber bands and pouch are strong .

It works and the design is pretty cool. However the loading mechanism is… Less than stellarI say loading mechanism but really it's just you just kind of tilt the gun back and slide the thing back-and-forth a bunch of times and every time it goes over a hole a little salt goes down into the balloon. I would say you wanna do that about six or seven times and that should give you enough saltAlso you need to be about a foot away maybe 2 feet at most from the fly to do the damage that you need to doYou're not gonna get much of your desired outcome if you're 10 feet away sitting on the couch and the flies up on the ceilingIn my pictures you can see where I shot one of my plant leaves I did this about four days ago and so you can see after four days what happened to the leaf and you can see where all the little penetration happened from the salt. It absolutely works.I was about 15 or 16 inches away from the leaf when I shot this and I did not put a lot of force into it eitherSo basically you just wanna kind of walk up to the area of the fly is in move slow slowly pull back on the balloon and let her rip. I'll be shocked if you don't have it down to a science by second or third attempt

I wanted to like this and did manage to get it to spew out a few grains of salt a few times, but I also had a lot of failures with no salt delivered. But fundamentally I am failing to see the purpose of a salt gun with a range of less than a foot. I can throw salt by hand that far.

So, while I like the concept of this, it simply is not as good as its competitors products. However, what it is is a handgun-style salt shooter with a manual trigger. In that sense, I suppose it is ok but it barely worked, at least for me.I do have the larger, shotgun style salt shooter, and that one works amazing and has an automatic loading and spring firing mechanism, whereas this one you have to manually pull back a balloon essentially to fire. And, considering they give you a bunch of extra balloons, this is not a good sign. I could see blowing through them at an alarming rate, and then what? You have to go the dollar store and buy more balloons. I think that is just silly. As far as killing power, it really does not have it unless you are really close, which kinda is not a good thing when we are talking about flies here. If I get close enough, I could just use a fly swatter which is also more accurate. lolIt has decent value for the money but I think that I would rather opt for a bigger, better option than this one for slightly more money. It is fun to use though.

This is a fairly simple mechanism, which will blast salt out at a high speed when used correctly. Using it is pretty straightforward. It arrives with a balloon and 2 rubber bands attached. So you just need to open the top rubber grommet and load it with salt. Then lean it backwards and cock the handle back. Depending how hard you then pull the balloon backwards, will dictate the speed of the salt. You can pull it back up to 12 inches.I use to have a different, more expensive salt rifle. This one isn’t as good, but it is priced lower and is a decent value.

This little salt shooter “gun“ works as expected. All you have to do is pour salt into the salt chamber and close it up. Then you just pull back on the slide and it loads a little bit of salt into the rubber sleeve and you’re ready to pull it back and fire. It really is that simple. It seems to be the most effective when you hold it 12 to 18 inches away from the target. For the price I recommend it as it’s quite fun to play with.
